Match 47 Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals

 Yet again, RAJ over Royals! 

Ruturaj Gaikwad, the Chennai Super Kings young opening batsman who has been giving the team a great start has done it. He gets a 101* off 60 deliveries. What a planned innings that was. Slow, composed and easy innings against Sanju Samson's Rajasthan Royals. Rahul Tewatia and Chetan Sakariya are able to weaken the middle order batsman to pretty much be there in the game. Ravindra Jadeja and Faf Du Plessis get a decent score. The Chennai Super Kings put up a wonderful score of 189/4(20) 

Well, was that Ruturaj Gaikwad enough for the entire squad? Not really. Shivam Dube, Yashasvi Jaiswal and a good going Sanju Samson are able to get to the total in just 17.3 overs. They are able to get to 190/3! 

Bowling effort of Chennai Super Kings was not able to get the crucial wickets of these already set batsman. Shardul Thakur gets 2/30(4) and bare minimum support of the rest of the bowling unit. Ruturaj Gaikwad was the Man of the Match for this game. What a well-deserved innings and award to the right team mate!

Match-16 Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

 In their first match at the neutral venue, Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to field against Sanju Samson's Rajasthan Royals. Magic Miyan Mohammed Siraj 3/27 (4) and the Hustling Harshal Patel 3/47(4) as usual seam to do their best and there were some early wickets for the Rajasthan Royals despite good scores from Shivam Dube 46 (32) and Rahul Tewatia 40 (23) that lead RR to a finish off 177/9 (20) From here on the second innings of the match felt like a sided- match and the men in black and gold had taken the game away long before it actually ended. Opening Batsman DevDutt Paddikal's maiden IPL Century 101*(52) and Virat Kohli's 72(47) without the rest of their batting unit have won their 4th match so easily.
