Back in UAE, IPL 2021 to be continued with stricter measures.

All set for the remainder of the Indian Premier League of 2021, to be continued from the UAE on 19 th September with the first clash of phase 2 between the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. Many members of the IPL contingent in May tested positive for COVID-19 and so the tournament will be resumed with better guidelines and a stringent protocol issued by the BCCI. As per the new rules, an audience will be allowed to view the match only from the top tier seating of the stadiums. Hence, the ball that goes for a six will be replaced. It will only be put back in place after it is sanitized well. It is to be noted that the Saliva Ban is to be continued, members using their saliva on the ball or spitting on the field will have to use an allotted dustbin for the proper disposal of the waste from soiled tissues. In order to do away with close contacts, during practice sessions conducted, every franchise is instructed to pre-book the entire golf course to keep the bio-bubble secure. Play
