Match 54 Kolkata Knight Riders vs Rajasthan Royals

 The Rajasthan Royals go against the Kolkata Knight Riders for today's game. We witness Sanju Samson's squad winning the toss and he decides that the team will bowl first. Getting off to a good start, Shubman zgill and Venkatesh Iyer's opening pair has been a reliable factor in the second half of the tournament for the Kolkata Knight Riders.  Have the Punjab Kings made a comeback there? Punjab Kings squad will be happy and so will the captain who has been trying to clinch some much needed victories in the tournament. The Punjab Kings are able to win the toss and they decide to bowl first. Faf Du Plessis of the Chennai Super Kings puts up a brave show of 76 off just 55 deliveries! After the injury scare in the beginning of the second leg, what a controlled and well timed performance. Ravindra Jadeja and Gaikwad get easy scores just enough to support Faf. Chris Jordan and Arshdeep Singh try to get the better off the middle order batsman whilst Plessis has done most of the work already.  Punjab Kings already aware that they have to do whatever they can to win this game. Match 52 Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

 Shiekh Zayed Stadium hosted the Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore today. What a complete team effort both the teams saw. Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore saw Devdutt Paddikal and Genn Maxwell go pretty well in the innings. They were also supported by Ab De Villiers!  On the other hand, Jason Roy, Kane Williamson and Jason Holder anchor the innings for the Orange Army, but it everything went well with the batting? Was the bowling good enough? It was. Umran Malik a replacement player for T Natarajan who got COVID-19 in the IPL Bio Bubble gets his first wicket of the game! Harshal Patel and Chahal also do well for their team.  Unfortunately, towards the end, Royal Challengers Bangalore are not able to cross the finish line. SRH win this game by 4 runs.

Match 51 Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians

What a comeback in the tournament has Mumbai Indians been able to make. Maybe, what kind of pitch was made available in the Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians clash here at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Everything is in the hands of thr bowlers. Rightly so, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma opts to bowl first. What a right choice as they are able to take back to back wickets. With Nathan Coulter-Nile and James Neesham, two foreign bowlers with the fantastic effort of Jasprit Bumrah able to take a total of 9 whopping wickets! That allows the Rajasthan Royals just a score of 90/9 (20) Evin Lewis, Dawid Miller and Yashasvi Jaiswal cannot get through a total of three figures.  The second innings saw a stronger batting order. Ishan Kishan takes complete advantage of the situation. He was trolled and mocked for being out of form.  [1:20 AM, 10/8/2021] Ushma Shah: Dubai International Stadium hosts Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings vs Rishabh Pant's Delhi Capitals. It's that time of the game where the student-teacher will face each other. Both wicket-keeper batsmen go against each other in the game. Delhi Capitals decides to bowl and what an apt decision. Axar Patel shines for the Capitals along with Ashwin and Avesh Khan in a successful attempt to reduce the Super Kings to 136/5(20)  Ambati Rayudu gets 55*(43) but a low string of scores for the rest of the squad in today's game at office!  Capitalizing on a weak performance, Delhi Capitals top order shines as Shikhar Dhawan and Shimron Hetmyer's scores are able to help the Delhi Capitals win this game by 3 wickets (2 balls left) Shardul Thakur and Ravindra Jadeja are able to get 2 wickets each. Unfortunately, it has proven to be quite a minimal effort from the squad.

Match 49 Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders

 Shubman Gill is definitely here to stay after a poor performance in the first phase of the Indian Premier League. He is able to prove that match after match in the second phase here in the UAE. In today's game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Man of the Match goes to Gill! He is well supported by team mates Nitish Rana and Dinesh Karthik. What a day it was for the KKR bowling unit too. Varun Chakravathy, Tim Southee and Shivam Mavi are able to weaken the Orange Army's collective effort! Not the best day at office for the Sunrisers Hyderabad as the batsmen are not able to capitalise on a fine innings. Captain Kane Williamson gets to 26 runs off 21 deliveries with little support from his team mates. Also, Sunrisers Hyderabad team members cannot stop the wonderful effort put by Kolkata Knight Riders! This game is won by the KKR squad with a margin of 6 wickets (2 balls left) and that was an easy win to clinch from a crippling Hyderabad.

Match 48 Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Punjab Kings

 A MAX- well effort from Team Royal Challengers Bangalore against KL Rahul's Punjab Kings. Well, the Sharjah Stadium hosted the Royal Challengers and Kings a Sunday-thrilling game! What a close game that was. Glenn Maxwell, Virat and DevDutt Paddikal anchor the batting innings. Moises Henriques and Shami are able to take back to back wickets to weaken the squad. The Royal Challengers team has put up the Kings to a challenge of 164/7(20)  In the second innings, although Kings have a strong hold on the game, Yuzvendra Chahal with the efforts of Ahmed and Garton fight back. They are able to get some crucial wickets to clinch a win by just 6 wins.  What is happening with Punjab Kings? KL Rahul the captain is able to get a clinical performance! But what about the rest of the team member's contribution? Well, they will have to rework and get back on the field. Congratulations to the Virat Kohli led squad and best of luck to Punjab Kings for their next game!

Match 47 Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals

 Yet again, RAJ over Royals!  Ruturaj Gaikwad, the Chennai Super Kings young opening batsman who has been giving the team a great start has done it. He gets a 101* off 60 deliveries. What a planned innings that was. Slow, composed and easy innings against Sanju Samson's Rajasthan Royals. Rahul Tewatia and Chetan Sakariya are able to weaken the middle order batsman to pretty much be there in the game. Ravindra Jadeja and Faf Du Plessis get a decent score. The Chennai Super Kings put up a wonderful score of 189/4(20)  Well, was that Ruturaj Gaikwad enough for the entire squad? Not really. Shivam Dube, Yashasvi Jaiswal and a good going Sanju Samson are able to get to the total in just 17.3 overs. They are able to get to 190/3!  Bowling effort of Chennai Super Kings was not able to get the crucial wickets of these already set batsman. Match 46 Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals

 The Mumbai Indians go against Rishabh Pant led Delhi Capitals at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium today. In the game, DC has decided to bowl first. What a wonderful effort from the bowling unit. They are able to take crucial wickets to weaken the team's effort and performance. The Mumbai Indians are not able to capitalize on a big innings. Their top order is already shattered. Suryakumar Yadav gets to a decent 33 off 26 deliveries. That's not enough though. Quinton De Kock and Kungfu- Hardik Pandya are not able to help Yadav get to the finish line. Axar Patel and Avesh Khan get to a total of 3 wickets each. Anrich Notrje is able to help get 1 wicket too. A low total for the Delhi Capitals to get past the finish line as the Mumbai Indians complete at 129/8 (20) Let's just say that this was a cake-walk for the Delhi Capitals squad.  Reliable Rahul vs Venkatesh Iyer? A nail-biting effort from both the teams, but who will get the better off it?  The Kolkata Knight Riders go against the Punjab Kings today at the Dubai International Stadium. As KL Rahul's team decides to bowl first, opening batsman of the KKR squad- Venkatesh Iyer gets to 67 runs off a wonderful just 49 runs. What a brilliant effort from the youngster to get to such a firing start to his journey with the Indian Premier League. Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi are still able to weaken his supporting batsmen with their bowling efforts. Senior bowler Mohammed Shami gets 1 wicket too off 4 overs giving away 23 runs.  Knights finish at a decent 165/6 (20) This is a good time for the Punjab Kings to showcase their super talented batting order. The Sunrisers Hyderabad go against the Chennai Super Kings at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in today's clash. Starting off with the ball, Josh Hazelwood and Dwayne Bravo take some crucial wickets to cripple the top order of the Orange Army. Keeping the game only in the hands of the middle order, Wriddhiman Saha of the Hyderabad squad reached a decent 44 of 46 balls. Unfortunately, his sole effort was not enough for the team to finish off with a win. Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad are not able to get in a decent score. Towards the second innings, opening batsman for the Chennai Super Kings Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf Du Plessis anchor a strong balance to get to a 139/4 (19.4 overs) with two balls left. Match 43 Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

 Royal Challengers Bangalore   went against the Rajasthan Royals yesterday. Sanju Samson’s team was easily defeated by   Virat Kohli   and his men in red and gold by a margin of seven wickets. The Royal Challengers Bangalore will be overjoyed to witness an all-around team performance at this stage in the game. They are on a winning streak as they get their second back-to-back victory last night. On that note, firstly, a delighted Virat Kohli addresses the team’s performance in the post-match presentation. Secondly, he talks about impressive bowling in the middle overs. The RCB squad was fearless during the game’s crucial moments. As a result, being able to be on the winning side. Now the franchise will get an easy entry to complete the tournament in the top two of the league. However, Rajasthan Royals had many chances to get the game to their side too. At the Shiekh Zayed Stadium the Mumbai Indians take on KL Rahul's Punjab Kings. We get to see Rohit Sharma's men in blue winning the toss to bowl first to the Kings. Aiden Markram gets a fine 42 runs off 29 runs. Mumbai Indians all rounder Hardik Pandya makes a valuable contribution to get 40* (30) in the game. Saurabh Tiwary and Quinton De Kock aid him to get to the finish line against Punjab Kings. What looked like a struggling effort for the Punjab Kinds was a steady momentum in the batting order. The bowling effort could not restrict the men in blue. Kieron Pollard, Jasprit Bumrah and Krunal Pandya add to MI's magnificent effort.  The Mumbai Indians win this game in their 19th over by 6 wickets! The Punjab Kings will have to work on some crucial areas to get crucial aspects right in their game.

Match 41 Delhi Capitals vs Kolkata Knight Riders

 Knights put up a complete team effort to clinch the game from Delhi Capitals. The Rishabh Pant led squad put up a struggling effort to get to 127/9. Sunil Narine, Lockie Ferguson and Venkatesh Iyer's joint effort to restrict the Capital's batsmen and they fail to capitalize on getting the required runs.  Let's look at the second innings where Nitish Rana, a steady Shubman Gill and a valuable cameo from Sunil Narine comes handy to help the Kolkata Knight Riders to keep up their magnificent comeback in the second phase of the Indian Premier League in the UAE.  Unfortunately, the efforts of Avesh Khan, Nortje, and Ravichandran Ashwin fail to do justice to Delhi Capitals. Big congratulations to Kolkata Knight Riders who easily win the game by 3 runs (10 balls left)

Match 40 Rajasthan Royals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

 Jason Roy leads the Orange Army to victory against Sanju Samson's squad  Jason Roy outshines Captain Sanju Samson's wonderful 82 runs knock off 57 balls. What a match winning effort it has been for Kane Williamson's Sunrisers Hyderabad. Jason Roy anchored the innings with Kane. Siddharth Kaul, Senior player Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Sandeep Sharma get the better off the Rajasthan Royals.  Yashasvi Jaiswal and Lomror were not able to support the captain to get to the finish line. The Rajasthan Royals put up a score of 164/5(20) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad team were able to win by 7 wickets (9 balls remaining)  Jason Roy was the declared Man of the Match for his much needed 60 runs off just 42 deliveries!  Well done Orange Army and better luck to Sanju Samson for always doing his bit for the Rajasthan Royals!
