Match 45 Kolkata Knight Riders vs Punjab Kings

Reliable Rahul vs Venkatesh Iyer? A nail-biting effort from both the teams, but who will get the better off it?
The Kolkata Knight Riders go against the Punjab Kings today at the Dubai International Stadium. As KL Rahul's team decides to bowl first, opening batsman of the KKR squad- Venkatesh Iyer gets to 67 runs off a wonderful just 49 runs. What a brilliant effort from the youngster to get to such a firing start to his journey with the Indian Premier League. Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi are still able to weaken his supporting batsmen with their bowling efforts. Senior bowler Mohammed Shami gets 1 wicket too off 4 overs giving away 23 runs.
Knights finish at a decent 165/6 (20)
This is a good time for the Punjab Kings to showcase their super talented batting order. They do exactly that, KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal get going and reach 67(55) and 40 (27) respectively. Shahrukh Khan also has a match winning cameo off 22* (9)
The efforts of Varun Chakravarty, Venkatesh Iyer and Shivam Mavi fall short of the Kolkata Knight Riders team effort.
With this, Punjab Kings win this game by 5 wickets (3 balls left)
Shocking news coming in for the Universe Boss fans! Chris Gayle chooses to opt-out of the remainder of the IPL. He has decided to leave the secure bio-bubble and will not feature for the Punjab Kings for their remaining games.
These stringent rules have often been difficult for our professional cricketers, causing bubble fatigue. Before Gayle, players like Ben Stokes, Dawid Malan, Liam Livingstone, and Andrew Tye have all opted out of their respective franchise or International commitments due to bubble fatigue, to focus on their mental health.

Match-6 Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

Harsh but Shabhaz Win over the Sunrisers! Royal Challengers Bangalore in their second encounter defeat the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Must say it was a Bowlers' Bash as it was raining wickets than runs. With a slow start from openers Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli wickets fell in quick succession as Jason Holder and Rashid Khan cause the damage and restrict RCB to a low total of just 149/8. Warner led- Hyderabad try and seal the deal early in the game but all gone in vain as Manish Pandey and Rashid Khan's cameos fail to support the Sunrisers. Fortunately Harshal Patel, Shahbaz Ahemad and Miyan Mohammed Siraj help their team to win the game by 6 runs at the M.A.  Chidambaram Stadium at Chepauk. This is Royal Challengers Bangalore's second consecutive win and Sunrisers Hyderabad's second consecutive loss in the tournament so far.
