Match 56 Delhi Capitals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

The Sheik Zayed Stadium hosted the final game of the Indian Premier League this season. The match is played between the Delhi Capitals and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Virat Kohli wins the toss and decides to bowl against Rishabh Pant's squad. Openers Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan get their partnership going. It has been a fine start for both the players. Prithvi gets 48 runs off 31 deliveries and unfortunately misses out on his half century. But soon as Shikhar Dhawan as he gets 43 runs off 35 balls to his credit. Shimron Hetmyer plays an interesting can you to get 29 runs for the Capitals. On the other hand Miyan Magic has done it for the Challengers, Siraj gets 2 wickets for 25 runs in his spell. He is supported brilliantly by his team mates- Dan Christian and Yuzvendra Chahal. By the end of the first innings Delhi is at 164/5 (20 overs)


Virat Kohli's squad has been on the top of their game this season. They have been trying to make the changes, get the right variations and work on the form of their batsmen. All in all the team is getting to a clinical perform in every game. One such unique batsman is Srikar Bharat, the middle order batsman for the Challengers. He had been struggling mein chapter maths to make his mark. But in this game against Rishabh Pant's squad he has finally got his breakthrough! Whooping 78 runs of just 52 balls to his credit. It has been of fantastic innings to watch. Bharat was able to time his shot and play the game under some pressure. The way he strikes is bat and the kind of composure he shows, on field is noteworthy. Just support that Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers have been able to allow the Royal Challengers an interesting team effort in this game. 


Axar Patel and and Anrich Nortje get a total of just 3 wickets, but the rest of the the Delhi capitals squad is not able to weaken a strong RCB. 


The Challengers win this game and after a fine performance throughout the Indian Premier League of 2021, Virat Kohli and co. qualify for the play-offs of the tournament. This game was Virat Kohli's last match as the captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore. 


As a result, the finals of the Indian Premier League will be played on 15th October, 2021. The final two teams will be decided in the qualifying stages of the game.

Match-6 Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

 Harsh but Shabhaz Win over the Sunrisers! Royal Challengers Bangalore in their second encounter defeat the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Must say it was a Bowlers' Bash as it was raining wickets than runs. With a slow start from openers Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli wickets fell in quick succession as Jason Holder and Rashid Khan cause the damage and restrict RCB to a low total of just 149/8. Warner led- Hyderabad try and seal the deal early in the game but all gone in vain as Manish Pandey and Rashid Khan's cameos fail to support the Sunrisers. Fortunately Harshal Patel, Shahbaz Ahemad and Miyan Mohammed Siraj help their team to win the game by 6 runs at the M.A.  Chidambaram Stadium at Chepauk. This is Royal Challengers Bangalore's second consecutive win and Sunrisers Hyderabad's second consecutive loss in the tournament so far.
