Match 55 Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

The final two games of the Indian Premier League of 2021 begins! At the Abu Dhabi Stadium the men in blue, Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians will face a struggling Orange Army. Kane Williamson's squad will look to change things around before etching into the final leg of the tournament. For today's IPL matches, the last two games will be played simultaneously at the Abu Dhabi and Sheikh Zayed stadium. At the Abu Dhabi stadium the Mumbai Indians will face Sunrisers Hyderabad. On the other side, a strong Royal Challengers Bangalore will face Rishabh Pant's Delhi Captials in the eliminator of the season. It's a power packed day filled with cricket shots, wickets and some amazing moments that fans will witness today. There will be moments of joy, jitters and so much excitement for our viewers! In match number 55 today, Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians decides to bat after winning the toss. The Sunrisers Hyderabad squad is put to bowl first. A firing start for the men in blue. Youngster Ishan Kishan who has been struggling to keep form and have a steady momentum in the game finally gets his breakthrough. He finally is able to prove the kind of innings he is capable of. Kishan gets a wonderful 84 runs off just 32 balls to his credit. Rohit Sharma seems to have completely supported and back the player. Another star in making makes it easier for the Mumbai Indians tonight. The super strong, balanced and focused Suryakumar Yadav has anchored the innings for the Mumbai Indians. He gets a fine 82 runs off 40 deliveres! 

Yadav has a knack for a composed and well planned shots. Mumbai Indians squad gets the kind of start they were looking for. After 20 overs, they get 235 runs for 9 wickets. The rest of the squad were not able to contribute much. Their short cameos made it a complete team effort!


Orange Army's Jason Holder strikes 4 wickets and is supported well by Rashid Khan and Abhishek Sharma as they try to cripple the strong men in blue for 9 wickets. 


Tough fight, thrilling end- the second innings makes it an exciting match. Manish Pandey goes well and is able to get 69 runs off just 41 deliveries. Unfortunately, the rest of his team mates are not able to support him. The combine efforts of James Neesham, Jasprit Bumrah and Nathan Coulter-Nile get wickets in succession to weaken the orange army. 


Congratulations to Mumbai Indians as they win this game by 42 runs. Despite this big win, they do not qualify for the finals of the Indian Premier League this season. The Sunrisers Hyderabad team do not qualify for the playoffs too. Both the teams will have to try their luck jn the next season now.

Match-26 Punjab Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahemdabad hosted the Punjab Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore. A fierce, unstoppable and one many army, PBKS Captain KL Rahul's Klassic Knock 91*(57) set the tone of this match. He was well-supported by Chris Gayle's 46(24) and a short cameo by Harpreet Brar 25*(17) bring up the total of 179/5(20) Royal Challengers Bangalore Bowlers were able to take some important wickets that slowed the game. IPL 2021: Cricket- the religion of India is back with the 14 th edition of the Indian Premier League.
