Match-29 Punjab Kings vs Delhi Captials

 We are headed to match number of the Super-Sunday! 


This match is between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals, here at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahemdabad. 


Updates coming in from Punjab Kings- Captain KL Rahul complained of abdomen pain and did not respond the medicines, hence with further tests it was revealed that he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis. This needed the be resolved surgically and for better care, he is transferred to a hospital. In Rahul's absence, Mayank Agarwal would captain the Punjab Kings.


What a magnificent beginning as debut Captain for Mayank Agarwal who scored a commendable  99*(58) against the Delhi Capitals. With the efforts of Dawid Malan's 26(26) and Chris Gayle's 13(9). Although, the Capitals were able to take some wickets Kagiso Rabada's 3/36(4), Axar Patel and Avesh Khan got one wicket respectively. This restricted the Kings to complete at 166/6 (20) 


In the chase that followed, Prithvi Shaw got back to back boundaries in the first over of this innings. Shikhar Dhawan scored 69*(47) and Steve Smith's 24(22) comfortably take over the Kings bowling unit who were able to register just one wicket respectively off Harpreet Brar, Chris Jordan and Riley Meredith.

With this the Delhi Capitals had an easy win by 7 wickets and 14 balls to spare over the Punjab Kings.

Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahemdabad hosted the Punjab Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore. A fierce, unstoppable and one many army, PBKS Captain KL Rahul's Klassic Knock 91*(57) set the tone of this match. He was well-supported by Chris Gayle's 46(24) and a short cameo by Harpreet Brar 25*(17) bring up the total of 179/5(20) Royal Challengers Bangalore Bowlers were able to take some important wickets that slowed the game.
