Although, the Capitals were able to take some wickets Kagiso Rabada's 3/36(4), Axar Patel and Avesh Khan got one wicket respectively. This restricted the Kings to complete at 166/6 (20)
In the chase that followed, Prithvi Shaw got back to back boundaries in the first over of this innings. Shikhar Dhawan scored 69*(47) and Steve Smith's 24(22) comfortably take over the Kings bowling unit who were able to register just one wicket respectively off Harpreet Brar, Chris Jordan and Riley Meredith.
With this the Delhi Capitals had an easy win by 7 wickets and 14 balls to spare over the Punjab Kings.
