Match-27 Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians take on Chennai Super Kings in the IPL El Clasico at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Chennai Super Kings' pull off some massive runs even in less number of deliveries faced. Ambati Rayudu aced his game for 72* off 27 deliveries, Moeen Ali's 58(36) and Fantastic Faf Du Plessis's 50 off 28 deliveries help the team to set a huge total of 218/4(20) Mumbai Indians Bowling Unit Kieron Pollard gets 2/12(2) Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah have expensive overs despite getting 1 wicket each.

In the chase that followed, opening partnership- Captain Rohit Sharma's 25(24) and Quinton De Kock's fast 38(28) deliveries set a good space for the remaining batsman to come. At one point here, CSK looked like they will seal the deal early on but little did they know of Kieron Pollard who already struck well with the ball will do so powerfully with the ball as he scored a huge 87*(34) and solely lead the Mumbai Indians to victory by 4 wickets.

It looked nearly impossible for him, as wickets fell in order to Sam Curran's 3/34(4) one wicket respectively for Moeen Ali and Ravindra Jadeja's otherwise expensive overs. All in all, KP got a good time with Pandya Brothers and towards the end with Jayant Yadav to support him to victory.

After this loss by 4 wickets, Chennai Super Kings are still the table-toppers of the tournament and will look to come back well in their next game.
